Transcriptome Analysis Reveals the Central Role of the Transcription Factor MYB in Regulating Anthocyanin Accumulation in Economic Grape Species (Vitis vinifera)

To cultivate different grape varieties according to market needs, it is necessary study the regulation mechanism of color changes in development stages grapes. In this study, RNA-sequencing (RNA-Seq) technology was used compare and analyze transcriptome data four at same stage. Among annotated differential genes, anthocyanin synthesis pathway flavonoid mainly studied. Further RT-qPCR analysis key enzyme metabolism pathway, showed that MYB transcription factor family had binding sites start genes. The relative expression gene verified by reverse polymerase chain reaction. Subcellular localization function verification MYB2 confirmed its regulatory role anthocyanins.
